If You Have a Few Minutes, Let Me Tell You My Story

Hi, I'm Monica,

I'd like to quickly share my personal struggle with you.  You see, I've never been thin, I was always the girl with the "pretty face," in high school and college.  Honestly, I was more of a nerd, sure some guys paid attention to me, but I always struggled with my size and my confidence.   

I was a late-bloomer, in my thirties I dropped 6 sizes and holy cow everything changed! ? You guessed it...all the guys were after me.

I was on top of the world, I never knew how GOOD I could feel.  I loved myself.?   I loved the way my skin glowed, my clothes fit, and how easy it was for me to run up a flight of steps or squat to pick up something off the floor. 

Well fast forward 15 years later and I'm a wife, I run my own business, and I'm super busy ALL the time.?️

At night I just slumped on my couch with a glass of wine ? and fell asleep watching TV, I was so tired all the time.

I just didn't care. I was so busy, who has time to think about a slim trim figure?  I really didn't worry too much about it.  I just went up a size in my jeans and wore more leggings to be comfortable.  

Sure, I avoided the mirrors in my house and just chalked it up to getting older. But then I got a call from one of my dearest friends from high school.  Her daughter was getting married in a few months ?. I should have been excited.  I wasn't.

I'm ashamed to say I was really annoyed that I was invited. I went to my closet to look at my clothes and as I flipped through each top, dress, skirt, and bottom looking at the sizes it hit me I was once again in "plus sizes".

I looked at my reflection in my full length mirror and cringed.  It was like I'd been slapped in the face.

I stood in my closet and cried HARD. (I'm not usually a crier.)

​

I did not want to go the wedding looking and feeling the way I did.  I wanted my husband to be proud to have his beautiful  wife by his side.  

Even though I know he said he didn't care about the way I looked. I CARED. He always told me I was beautiful to him.

The next day I figured I would buckle down and get tough with myself.  I would exercise four days a week, I'd eat salad and grilled chicken, and no wine! 

Well that lasted for two days, by the third day I was sore from exercising, I was on the couch with a glass of wine and then sneaking off to the pantry to eat chocolate.

I was heading in the wrong direction!  I desperately needed a change, but I was at a loss!

The next evening my sister shared a video with me from Sam Hansen, just an average middle age 911 operator --who's wife Angela  had gone thru an embarrassing high school reunion, it was what I was going thru now... just 10X worse!

You see, Sam's wife, Angela, was so out of sorts over her appearance that she was contemplating a divorce.

You heard right ?

Sam was determined to do something to help his wife. That became his life...his mission. 

Then my sister said something even more profound...

"If the mind heals, the body follows."

How strange that something that came from a little village in Japan was now being shared with me, I'd never even been to Japan!

I wanted to know more about the missing piece of the fat loss puzzle that NO DIET on earth solves. 

Sure you're often told that:

❌Exercise helps you get trim

❌You need to cut carbs - no more bread, rice, or pasta

❌Your thyroid is sluggish

❌Your hormones are out of control

❌Slow metabolism causes the pounds to pile on

❌Or you're just too old

They want you to believe this, that you’re broken, that it’s your fault.

But it’s not your fault!

Sam is on an important mission to get this out to the world and convinced that people must know this information.  He knows the struggle deeply and intimately.  

It nearly broke his heart to watch his wife Angie struggle with so many workout plans, health issues, and constant upset.  Nothing worked and he was desperate to find a solution.  

Luckily, he stumbled across the "the odd 5-second rite," from Japan and turned it into a simple and easy to follow protocol.  It's a little bit contrary to popular advice, but it's simple and it worked for Angie.

But let's just say that I was at the wedding two months later tearing up the dance floor with my husband ?? 

And all eyes were on us... on ME ?
